OOC

Hi, guys! Sorry I haven’t been on in, like, forever. It has gotten a little hectic IRL. I had gotten sick about a week ago, and then I’ve had doctors appointments and now I’m getting sick all over again.

And I haven’t really been having any luck channeling my Gemma muse. It’s been hard, actually, and I’m trying to work on getting her back. But until then I’m going to have to take a brief hiatus. And I know a few of you will unfollow, it’s fine. It happens. I just wanted to let you all know. And I’ve been having the same amount of luck channeling my Max muse as my Gemma muse, so Max will be on hiatus too (newyorkcitynephilim).

I’m having better luck on two other accounts, so if you want to follow me there and RP, go right on ahead, I don’t mind. The accounts are: thewarlockandtherunaway and thefairestoffolk.

So I’m not leaving, I just need a break (From Max and Gemma). I hope you all can understand.

Gemma leaned in a little closer too, to where their noses where almost touching and grinned. “Delinquent?” She murmured. “I always liked bad boys.” She chuckled a little. “And trust me when I tell you that I’m far from perfect. I can seriously sit here and list every imperfect thing about me for an hour and still come up with more after that. But,” she bit her lip. “I like that you think that. Because I think you’re pretty perfect too.”

image

Cam gave a small smile in between the fuzziness of his brain.  ”Hmmm, really?  And believe me when I tell you, it doesn’t matter what’s imperfect.” he said, his eyes looking into hers for a long time.  ”Thank you.” he whispered, leaning in to kiss her cheek softly.  He couldn’t help, the feeling was electric, as usual.  He began lining her jaw with soft, long kisses.  He had to get her to stop talking about her fault one way or another because the only thing that made him perfect was her and he didn’t like her feeling the opposite way.

image

Gemma took in a deep breath as he started to kiss her. She loved it. She loved every kiss that he gave her. To her, it felt like little bursts of electricity every time their skin made contact and she absolutely adored the feeling. Gemma smiled, and placed a hand on his cheek. She turned her head so she could kiss him on the lips. Her kisses were soft and gentle, even though every fiber of her being wanted longer, passionate kisses. She just didn’t want to push it.

Okay, so my laptop is starting to overheat, so I’ll be on tomorrow.

Nighty night!

Gemma grinned as he started to play again. She loved the beat to the song so far, and she couldn’t help but to wonder what was the inspiration behind the lyrics of the song. She danced a little bit, still grinning. The sound of his voice and the music from the guitar filled her ears. This was something she could get used to, especially if it was him singing to her. No matter what the song was about, she enjoyed his playing and the look he got while playing. He was really enjoying himself, she could tell. It was in his eyes, and it made him seem more alive. And Gemma absolutely loved that.

image

Cam grinned through the lyrics, noticing Gemma dance and sway.  He was glad she liked it, although he hadn’t asked her about this one.  Playing the final chord pattern, he let the strings ring out, keeping his small, casual smile plastered to his face.  ”So, I’m assuming you liked it, but I have to ask, was it okay?” he asked, removing his guitar and setting it up on the stand next to the window.  He loved the way her eyes sparkled and the happiness shown on her face looked to him.  She wasn’t perfect….she was beyond that, and he was a lucky guy for getting someone as amazing as her, he thought, smiling more.

image

Gemma smiled at him. “It was more than okay!” she chuckled. “I loved it! But I’ve got to ask, what made you write it? I mean, it’s absolutely amazing. It’s just that your lyrics are very thought inspiring—Am I making sense?” Her face grew red. “Sorry, I’m horrible at explaining myself.” Which was more or less true. She had never once explained herself before—she never had to. She was a Stark, and it was very rarely that Stark’s explained themselves.

image

Cam couldn’t help but laugh.  ”Eh, I actually think this might’ve been one for my friend, Roy.  He went through a bad break up and asked me to listen, so I did while he vented, then a beat came and I started taking notes on things he said and bam, song material.  We were in a lame garage band, but that might’ve been because we had weird pasts and names, like Royal and me being a convict for a time….” he said, sliding his pick into his jeans pocket and scooting the stool closer to Gemma and the couch.  ”I don’t really talk about that part much.” he added, bouncing his knee to keep some anxiety from escaping.  Cam knew he had a bad past, but talking about it was a different story.  He thought it’d be different being older and with Gemma, but some old habits really die hard.

image

Gemma gave him a warm smile and reached over and put her hand on his. “Sounds like you’ve really got a past,” she squeezed his hand a little bit. “You don’t have to talk about it right now if you don’t want to.” But he had gotten her even more curious about this musician-spy. She was always interested in peoples past, and right now he had her full on attention. And maybe one day she’ll be able to tell him all about herself and her past, like her mother’s suicide and Gemma being, well, a mutant.

image

“Yeah.” Cam gave a faint smile, but felt like shit, as usual.  ”Thanks.” he managed to say, feeling a tingle when her hand touched his.  He liked that feeling a lot more as it continued happening.  ”So, add a screwed up spy-agent-delinquent with a perfect, gorgeous, amazing girl whose dad hates me and what do we end up with?” he asked, grinning his sneaky little smile as he leaned forward, closer and closer to the distance that made his insides heat up.

“Then I do hope everyone is prepared to have their fingers bitten off.” He laughed, though really he would not bite people’s fingers off. No matter how irritated they made him, he had been bitten by many things and a rabbit bite or kick was not nice at all. “I think I could still talk, at least through a mind… something. I’m not sure how it worked but I could definitely communicate.” His smile softened as he shook his head, “You don’t need to thank me, darling.”

image

She laughed. “My goodness. That must have been something. A bunny that could communicate through a mind thing… You’re very lucky some scientist guy didn’t find you before the magic anon was up and, like, performed tests and stuff. That would have been horrible.” She shook her head. how she thinks of these things, she does not know. Maybe she gets it from her father. She always blames stuff like that on her father’s side of the family. She gave him a small smile in return, and thought she should say something else but no words came to mind.

image

“Oh god that would have been horrible.” He winced, “I would have kicked them then ran as fast as my little legs could carry me.” He smiled at the thought, but felt a sense of relief knowing that magic anon was long over, now all he had to do was worry about up and coming ones. “Some are worse than others, but I suppose you have to relax in the knowledge that they aren’t forever and hope you don’t do something stupid during the set time…”

image

"Oh goodness, yes." She shook her head. "That one anon that made me lust for blood was the worst one I got. I could have killed one of my friends. I don’t know what I would have done if I had actually done it and it wore off…" she shuddered. "And then there was one where I was a man… I was quite good-looking as a man. And I am happy that I did not…impregnate anyone. It would have been hard to explain to my Sophie and my father and my boyfriend." She chuckled. "Very hard to explain."

Cam kept singing, briefly looking up from his guitar to see Gemma’s reaction.  She looked mesmerized to him, but he figured that she liked it, or else she would’ve said something already.  He finished the song with a soft strum of a chord and smiled.  ”How was it?” he asked, hoping her facial expressions relayed her actual emotions.

image

“I loved it,” she said earnestly. “I really did. Oh my gosh, you’re fantastic.” She grinned. She had to stop herself from becoming a fangirl at that particular moment because her fangirl side is a bit scary. She chuckled. “You’re wonderful. I just absolutely, positively loved it to pieces, oh my gosh.”

image

Cam smiled and looked down.  ”I’m glad.” he said, looking up again at Gemma.  ”So, would you like another?” he asked, his smile plastered to his face by default.  He hadn’t had that sort of reaction to his music in a while.  He felt good, the same good he felt when he kissed her.  It was just as filling and satisfying, but he wanted his guitar to stop blocking him from Gemma to kiss her again and again.

image

“Yeah! I would absolutely love to hear another one!” Gemma beamed. She grinned at Cam. She loved that song, and she knew that she would just love to hear another one. “You know,” she said, “I bet if you ever performed in front of one of those big record deal guys you’d get a deal.” She chuckled. “I’d be president of your fan club, just so you know.” Her tone was light. She was having such a good time, almost like the time she saw one of her favorite bands in a small venue, but this is more personal.

image

“Oh, don’t say that!  I’m probably the last person they’d want to have a job in the music industry.  But you being president of my fan club I could totally see.” Cam smiled, laughing lightly.  ”Okay, slow or upbeat?  I can do whatever my adoring fan would like.” he grinned, about ready to flip his guitar around and lean toward Gemma so he would be close enough to feel her sweet breath again.  He picked mindlessly, hoping she’d have him choose the song he thought best, his hope to communicate to her through his lyrics.

image

“Well it’s true!” She chuckled. Gemma leaned forward, crossing her legs. She thought about his question for a moment. She had already heard a slow song, so why not an upbeat one? “Upbeat? Unless you want to do a slow one.” She smirked. “Your biggest fan is indecisive.” Sometimes Gemma doesn’t know how she ever made any decisions. She is the most indecisive person she knows. All she knows is that she wants to hear him sing again. She enjoyed his voice a lot. She found it unique and beautiful.

image

Cam smiled wider, laughing a little at indecisive Gemma.  He found it to be another one of her cute quirks that made her even more perfect.  ”Okay, I have no idea how you’re going to take this one, but here it goes.”  He began finger picking the guitar with an intro to get into it.  ”I’m sick of picking the pieces and second-guessing my reasons.  Why you don’t trust me, why must we do this to one another?” he began yet another one of his many songs, ones he knew by heart or just enjoyed playing.  He couldn’t help but grin while singing, he truly was happy and nothing would change when he was around Gemma.

image

Gemma grinned as he started to play again. She loved the beat to the song so far, and she couldn’t help but to wonder what was the inspiration behind the lyrics of the song. Gemma grinned. “Ah, she already has an attitude about school. Her teacher said that she’s a wonderful student, but she thinks that she’s smarter than everyone there.” She shook her head, chuckling. “And that sounds awesome. Your new suit is going to upgrades, right? What kind of upgrades?”

image

“Oh, god. She’s definitely a Stark then.” Tony leaned back in his seat, turning around completely to smile up at the other. “Trying out something new with the repulsors to increase speed and lessen the charge up for more efficient attacks. I’m starting with basics, since if you don’t recall last time when I went all out and almost destroyed half the tower.”

image

"Yeah, I think everyone recalls that, dad." She laughed. "So, I’m guessing it’s coming along nicely then? Because I was thinking, if you have time, you and I can hang out. If you don’t mind." She smiled.
